Lili's Wall-Flowers

Hello fellow bloggers and thank you for stopping my little corner of the craft world. Hopefully I will keep up better this week (I only just made some challenges by the skin of my teeth last week!)
Today I want to show you a card I have made following 'Christines Sketch' over at the Cute Card Thursday.

The charming little image is Lili Of The Valley and they are asking it see 'Circles' on our cards this week. I have coloured it with Copic Markers (finally I can see some improvement).
The sentiment is a rub on and as the theme is 'Friendship' this week at Crafty Catz this fits nicely in there.
The One Stop Craft Challenge have a theme of "Spring Flowers' and over at Stamptacular Sunday 'You've Been Framed' is the order of the day. Stamp Something are looking for 'Something with Flowers'. My flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, which is ideal as their challenge ths week is 'Anything Goes' and Bunny Zoe's are still looking for 'Spring Flowers too, the papers are from the Prima 6x6 Jack & Jill pad which the lovely lady at Cuddly Buddly sent me free of charge because they didn't have the one I wanted in stock, the satin ribbon is from Ribbon Girl the other is from my stash and I have used  Magnolia Doo Hickey Lace Boarder die and a Cuttlebug 'Arrows' die.

Thank you for looking

Hello again and thank you for visiting me. Today I want to share with you my card for the Lili Of The Valley Challenge which has a theme of 'Favourite Colours' I'm so far behind I didn't think I was going to catch up in time to enter this week!
Those of you who have been here before will recognise my favourite paper - Making Memories Cosmopolitian (I have both combinations, blue & brown and pink & brown) and I love both equally!

This little man is soooooo cute, he reminds me of when we first took our son to play rugby on Sunday mornings over 18 years ago.
Fab n Funky have a 'Recipe' theme this week of 1 image, 2 embellishments (buttons & twine) and 3 papers, and Simon Says Stamps are asking for 'Coffee & Cream'. Spring Is InThe Air

Morning everyone and happy Tuesday to you all.

It's Guest Designer time for me again over at Oldie But A Goodie and this week 'Spring Is In The Air' I hope you all have a chance to check out their challenges, you'll soon be dusting off your favourite forgotten stamps and joining in the fun. Be sure to check out their fabulous DT's blogs for some brilliant idea's.

Once again I have used a stamp (Tilda as a Bunny from Magnolia) that I have never used before, she has sat uninked for almost a year now!  You can't see it on this picture but I cut Tilda out and she is mounted on a tiny spring and she wobbles when you touch her! Thought I'd take the 'spring' literally!!
Magnolia Stamp Lovers  have a 'Pastels' theme this week, if you haven't been over there for a while you should check out the new blog makeover it's looking really FAB. This is aslo my 3rd and final entry into the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge with the 'Squares' theme.

The beautiful daffodils are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the satin ribbon from the Ribbon Girl, I used my Nesties and a Martha Stewart border punch everything else is from my stash.

Thanks for visiting, remember, please leave a trace so I can visit you

Totally Edwin

Good morning everyone I hope you are all well today, thank you for stopping by my little blog. Today I want to share with you a card I made for the Totally Tilda challenge 'How Does Your Garden Grow?' I wasn't sure if only Edwin was allowed so, to cover myself on that I added Tilda as a butterfly!

I have used my fabulous, favourite, fantastic 'Fairy Flora' paper pad from Prima (thats a bit of a tongue twister for a monday morning!) and I have distressed it to within an inch of its life to qualify for the challenge over at Magnolia Down Under. The colours on these papers are so lovely I'm only bringing myself to use it because I bought two pads! Bunny Zoes Craft challenge want to see 'Spring Flowers Everywhere' Magnolia-licious Highlites are having a brilliant Blog Hop involving Mini Tilda's & a Spring theme which you should all check out they have an amazing DT. All That Scraps Magnolia Challenge 'Birthday' theme is still on  (this is my 2nd & last entry)
7 Kids College Fund  theme of 'Squares' is still running and this is my entry No. 2 of the maximum 3.
I have used Edwin catching Butterflys and Love Fence Doo Hickey Die both from Magnolia, I painted the fence with Antique Linen Crackle Paint, the flowers are from Magnolia and Wild Orchid, the Butterfly is from Craft Essential and the image was coloured with Aqua Markers which I got from Joanna Sheen. It was the first time I have used them - I have a long way to go to master them!!

Thanks for looking especially to those of you that leave a comment and make my day!! I got 30 comments the other week and I was beside myself with joy!! Simple things - please simple minds!!

Pink Penny Black

Hello to you all and many many thanks to you for stopping by. Today I want to share with you my card for the Penny Black Challenge  'Pretty in Pink' I'm a bit behind this week and didn't think I was gonna make it in time!

I used Bev's sketch over at Wild Orchid Crafts  challenge this week. I love working from a sketch now and to think a month ago I'd never used one!
I have mixed up my papers, some are Magnolia, some are Provocraft that I have had for years (unused again) and the spotty one is recycled rags. The image is Penny Black, my flowers are a mix too, between Magnolia and of course Wild Orchid. I used a Martha Stewart border punch and frond punch and the ribbon is from my stash.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend, I have to work the next 10 days as it's half term but I still hope to get some card making in at night.
Thank you for looking

Moving Along With A Gift Bag

Morning everyone and thank you for dropping by. Today is my first day as a member of the Design Team at Moving Along With The Times  I'm filling in as they are a bit short for the next month or so and I'm very pleased to joining such a great bunch of girls. Boy was I out of my comfort zone with 'Something for a Girl But Not A Card' I thought my DT spell was gonna be over before it began!! But once I actually got down to thinking outside of the box (or card!) it was fun.
This weeks challenge is set by Brenda and sponsored by Digi Stamp company Robyns Fetish  and I used the fabulous Daisy Days image to create my 'Gift Bag'.
The paper is DCWV from one of their stacks (sorry I can't remember which one) and I coloured my image in to match with copic markers, some punched flowers, a few sticky gems, a feather and a Magnolia Doo Hickey tag later - Voilá - panic over!

Head over to MAWTT and check out the fabulous Design Team of Hazel, Brenda, Lisa, Pami and Shell and don't forget - Think out side the card!

I am entering this into the following challenges
Ladybugs Crafts Ink - Anything But A Card
A Spoonful Of Sugar - Anything But A Card
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge  - Anything But A Card

Thanks for looking

This pair are really stuck in the 70's and I wanted to use really retro paper to match that and my DCWV retro pad was perfect for what I had in mind.
Cute Card Thursday wanted us to 'Banish The Blues' and add some humour and I have loads of these Art Impression stamps unikned in my drawer so I was chuffed to bits to have to finally use one!
Mandy at Pink Gem provided the sketch which I got my Magnolia Doo Hickey doiley die out for (That was a tongue twister!)

Another Lili

Hello all and happy Friday....the weekend starts here! Thanks for dropping by, today I have another LOTV stamp to share with you.  I only have a couple of these glorious babies but that may have to change cos they colour up so lovely.....Tilda & Edwin may have to share some storage space here!!!

The photo I'm afraid is not tip top it's so cloudy today but I'm sure you can get the gist of my colour scheme.
Lili Of The Valley have given us a 'Romance' theme this week....funny that, there's a lot of this kind of thing about! I decided to change the usual colours up a bit and opted for something different and my Kaiser craft Utopia paper was ideal.
Wild Orchid Crafts want to see 'Love Is...' and I'm going for YOUNG!
After not winning the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge  last week (I got excited when it said my name - but apparently it was a mistake) I've decided to give it another go this week with their theme of 'Whateva'
Paper Take Weekly  have given us a free hand with 'Anything Goes' with an option of flowers and Totally Papercrafts want to see 'Friendships'. Try It On Tuesday want to 'Feel The Lurrrrve'.

Following Corry

Hello again and thank you for visiting. I've titled this post 'Following Corry' because I was checking out out her blog Free 4 Ever the other day and she had made the most amazing card all in white and I knew I had to try that, so thank you Corry for being an inspiration!!

I had been itching to get my hands on some new Mini World Magnolia's and couldn't wait till they were released here in the UK so I ordered some from Diana at Magnolia-licious - they arrived just as quick as anything I've ordered in the UK and there was allsorts of freebies thrown in the parcel too! Many thanks to everyone there.
Now, my photography skills are rubbish! The heart at the bottom is bright red glitter but it looks at bit dull on this pic and the sun was a nightmare throwing shadows everywhere!
Magnolia Down Under are asking that we use 'Embossing' on our cards this week so out came the Cuttlebug. (Thinking of you Guys down under with the cyclone xx)
Totally Tilda want to see "Tilda With Lots Of Hearts' so I decided to make these the only colourful part of my card, apart from little Tilda that is.
All That Scraps Magnolia Challenge has a theme 'Queen Of Hearts' so we qualify for that one and the whole card was created from a sketch by Lynn for Cute Card Thursday.
Over at Simon Says Stamps this week 'Love Is In The Air'
ABC Challenge  have asked us to use 'Nesties' this week on our cards.
I used Shy Tilda from the Mini World Collection and a Doo Hickey Swirl Die, Nestabilities, 2 Cuttlebug embossing folders and everything else was from my stash.
Thanks again for looking - don't forget to leave a trace x Laurie x

I just found out that I won the challenge for my Blowing Kisses Tilda over at Sarah Hurley wayheeyy and thanks or choosing me! I could get used to this!!!
