Moving Along With Bugaboo & A DT Call

Good morning bloggers is it just me or are these weeks just flying by? I can hardly believe it's the last day of March!

It's DT time again for me at Moving Along With The Times and this week the uber talented Shell is our hostess. Shell has chosen for the theme this week

This weeks sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps and they are offering the winner of the challenge

Yes 7 digi's! wow I wish I could enter! I've only just come across Bugaboo and I'm hooked.
Be sure to head over to MAWTT to check out what the lovely Design Team of Hazel, Brenda, Lisa, Shell and Pami have made for your inspiration, this week we are delighted to welcome back to the team Kelli why not drop by their blogs for even more idea's.

A couple of weeks ago when I was commenting on entries for our challenge I came across a card fold  I had never seen before (I lead such a sheltered life!) the lovely Lynn from Lynnn's Scraps sent me this tutorial link which I couldn't wait to try out
This is my first attempt, it's really easy to do, it looks much more complicated that it actually was. I have used Making Memories DP's, Prima flowers and ribbon from my stash. The happy anniversary is a rub on. The sentiment inside is Bugaboo

Tilda for my Mum

Afternoon bloggers, hope yours is better than mine, it's the most miserable grey day here and it's been so lovely all week!
Just a quick post from me as I'm off out to a posh dinner dance and wanted to get this up before I get ready. This is my Mother's Day card to my Mum.
I've had this paper (I think it's Junkitz) and this stamp for ages, and as usual never used either. The flowers are Wild Orchid and the ribbon is the seam binding that everyone has gone mad on distressing. The pearls are from my stash and the edges were distressed with a Tim Holtz distresser thingy!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges
Oldie But A Goodie -Pink, Brown & Blue
Cute Card Thursday - Deb's Sketch
All That Scraps Magnolia Challenge - Pastel With A Touch Of Brown

2 Thank You's

Just a quickie as I plan to actually make something tonight not spend all night blog hopping again!
I want to thank the lovely Ladybugs over at Ladybugs Craft Ink for choosing my White On white card below, as their winner last week. I'm chuffed to bits ladies I've been dying to get a winners badge! LOL

Also I was given this lovely award by Maria at A Crafty Journey and I just wanted to thank her, I've been given a couple of awards lately and have posted everything that's remotely interesting about me before so I won't bore everyone with that again and I'd like to pass it on to my buddy Sue at Sues craft Haven
Hopefully I will be back with something tomorrow!

Moving Along With Luck!

Good morning bloggers, hopefully you are reading this and I'm on my way to the bright lights and big city of London! My friend bought me tickets to see 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert' for Christmas, so its a swanky lunch at the Savoy Grill, shopping, theatre and party party party...

It's DT time again for me over at Moving Along With The Times and this week the lovely Pami has chosen the theme
'GOOD LUCK' We are sponsored this week by
Stockists of beautiful card making and scrapbooking goodies including stunning papers, buttons, ribbon, lace, pins, 6 x 6 paper pads, punches, flowers etc. Gorgeous Bo Bunny, My Mind's Eye, Martha Stewart, Echo Park, May Arts, Molly Blooms, FancyPants, Prima and many more!!!

The prize is a £10 Gift Voucher
Because nothing is stamped on my card this week it feels kind of strange for me! It's only since I've been blogging that I've stamped almost every card I've made, so this back to my beginnings LOL
I have used some fabulous papers from Creative Imaginations that have been in my stash for years along with the chipboard shapes. I painted the letters with my acrylic dabbers added a horseshoe charm and some ribbon and apart from some matting and layering thats about it. Nice and easy as I'm swamped under wedding invitations!
Be sure to head over to MAWTT and check out what the fab Design Team of Hazel, Brenda, Lisa, Shell and Pami have created for your inspiration this week.
I am entering this card into the following challenges
Allsorts Luck O The Irish

Thanks for stopping by to have a look

Gillian, Corry and Claudia Rosa

Hello my lovely bloggers thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog today and have a look around I hope the sun is shining and all is well with you.
Today I want to share with you a card I have made purely for Corry and her whopping candy blog post. Corry is celebrating 2 years in blogland and has a massive candy to give away. She is about to go back to work after maternity leave and as Corry is a nurse I thought Gillian from Prairie Fairy was the perfect image to use for her card.
Claudia Rosa from Pretty Pressings came up with a fabulous sketch just for Corry and this is my interpretation.
The papers are Kaiserkraft and I thought had the look of a chart, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Craft with the exception of the green one which is Magnolia. I have used a nestie, rub ons for the sentiment and ribbon from my stash. I used some glossy accents on Gillian's glasses.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.
Stamp Something Cream & Green
Crafty Catz Yellow & Green
Allsorts Luck O' The Irish/Green
Creative Card Crew Green
Fab 'n' Funky All Things Green

Swing Into Spring!

Hello again my lovely friends, 3 posts in just 2 days - don't get too used to this I'm sure it won't last LOL
My wedding invitation production line is well and truly under way so I thought I would treat myself to a bit of 'me' production!! I didn't get time to enter several of my favourite challenges last week so I'm determined to do better this week.
Today I want to share with you another LOTV stamp made for their challenge of 'Say It With Flowers' it's turned out a bit brighter than I hoped it would but I think I can live with it! Papertake Weekly want us all to go 'Lemon Zingy' well mine is a little more 'Egg Yolk Dingy' but I'm still entering!
Cute Card Thursday are celebrating their 3rd birthday this week with an additional prize up for grabs if you add the 3 to their 'Happy Birthday' theme. The sketch was provided by the lovely Jenny over at Pink Gem
Ladybugs Crafts Ink want to see 'Spring Colours' and I've gone for blue skies and yellow sunshine with of course spring daisies! The middle daisy came from WOC and the 2 smaller ones made from die cuts and brads.

Over at Sir Stampalot 'Spring Is In the Air' and they would like to see lots of Green, Yellow and or Blossom Pink on our cards this month. Browsing through challenge blogs the other day I came across a photo inspiration challenge that this would be perfect for, but me being me, I can't remember what it was and can't find it anywhere! Feel free to nudge me if you know please.
I used blue daisy paper from a sizzix sizzlet pad, yellow card and punched some flowers for a self colour pattern, oval nesties, a rub on sentiment and ribbon from my stash oh and a MS border punch.

Thank you all for visiting I hope you all have a fabulous weekend, think of me I'll be working!!

Gone Too Long

Hello my lovely bloggers I feel like I've been away forever! Working over the weekend, in meetings all day on Monday, 2 days (Tuesday and Wednesday) away at my Mothers and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms from blogland! I never thought I would miss colouring in and cutting out so much LOL!
My posts will be fewer and further between for a while too, as I will be busy making 150 wedding invitations for my Nephews wedding, the eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed the new page that popped up a few days ago.
So, you get nothing from me for nearly a week then 'wham' 2 posts in 1 day!  (Sounds more like a bus than a Laurie) My MAWTT weekly DT post went up earlier this morning, scroll down to check it out.
Now I want to share with you a card that will just make a couple of challenges by minutes I think! LOL
Halfway through colouring this image 1 of my copic markers died on me so I had to change the colour of Tilda's dress which hasn't really worked out so don't look too close! I can't remember where most of the ingredients for this card came from, they have sat in my stash for so long but I do know the pink spotty paper is from a K & CO 6x6 pad and Tilda, her Frog Prince, the sentiment, the Doo Hickey lace border die and the chandelier garland are all from Magnolia, the flowers are WOC except the green rose is Prima.
The card was made using a sketch by the fabulous Rach who hosted her first ever challenge over at Friday Sketchers. FAB sketch Rach.
Just Magnolia are sponsored this week by Simon Says Stamp and both have a 'Anything Goes' theme - handy that, I can combine two of my favourite challenges in one card!
Cupcake Craft Challenge are looking for 'Pink Polka Dots' - Ladies look no further - you have found them! LOL and finally everyone at the ABC Challenge must think I'm illiterate as I keep entering their challenges and have missed the rules that clearly state you can combine an entry with a maximum of 4 other challenges - I  am finally eligable for their 'P is for Pearls' challenge - hooray I can read!
This post has turned into a bit a novel, I hope you are still with me because I want to thank you for stopping by to visit me, and to those that do, for commenting, Ladies you rock!

I was given  'Rory the Footballer' to use for my card today - how cute is he! The backing paper is from my 'Forever Friends' Mens 6x6 pad, I've 3D'd some footballs as I'm not allowed flowers for texture on mens cards! (believe me I tried)

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the wire and crystal flowers are from e crafts a store I heard about from the lovely Rebekah (I ordered them one day and they were delivered the next morning!)
I have used Magnolia's doo hickey lace border die and swirl, a cuttlebug embossing folder and my nesties. Sentiment is a rub on and everything was from my stash.
