Moving Along With Squidgi Digi

Good Morning it's Thursday already, nearly the weekend and time for another challenge over at
What a great lot of cards we had last week for Hazel's
Clean & Simple challenge.
Congratulations if you were one of the lucky winners, I'm glad I didn't have to choose from all those fabulous entries.

On to this weeks challenge and this time my lovely friend Lisa from Mess2Magic is hosting and she has chosen

An Award

Hi all just a quick post to show an award I was given tonight by the lovely Tracy my team mate over at Oldie But A Goodie
Thank you Tracy I've never recieved this one before
Now to receive this award I am required to acknowledge the giver (Done), tell you 7 facts about myself and pass the award on to 8 lovely bloggers, now I've bored you all before with (un)interesting facts about me so this time I thought I'd choose 7 favourite crafting products/stamps/essentials
  1. Magnolia Stamps - I would never be into this hobby if not for the lure of lovely Tilda!
  2. LOTV Stamps - I never find enough time to use these but always enough to buy them!
  3. MME 6x6 Paper Pads - A new entry, Pami and Mary J started and fed my addiction!!
  4. Copic Markers - Only since I've been blogging have I stamped and coloured so much since I was 5!
  5. Flat Back Pearls - Nearly every card has at least 1
  6. Wild Orchid Craft Flowers - I have more of these than they do!!
  7. Prairie Fairy Gillian & Lewis - The cutest couple since Tilda & Edwin!
Now I think I am passing this onto people who have not yet had it, if I'm wrong and you have had it before I'm sorry!
  1. http://mess2magic.blogspot.com/ - Lisa
  2. http://pamiscraftycreations.blogspot.com/ - Pami
  3. http://didosdesigns.blogspot.com/ - Hazel
  4. http://cheryl-cherylscreativeatcscards.blogspot.com/ - Cheryl

Anything Goes at Oldie But A Goodie

Good morning all, I hope you have all cooled off a bit after the scorching weekend. We had a nice breeze here at the seaside on Sunday, but yesterday was a killer!

It's time for a new challenge over at
but before I go into that I would like to thank everyone who joined in for my challenge, we had some fantastic entries, though not as many as I had hoped.

The theme this week is everyones favourite...
Anything Goes

For my card I have used another of the Rubber Romance stamps that I found at the back of my drawer a week or so ago, again this one is unused until now!! The sentiment is a Stampin Bella, again never been used and the paper is from Basic Grey's Olivia 6 x 6 pad. The little black net rosette thing is Prima. The Chanel bag is just 2 rub on C's over lapped, it's probably the closest I'll come to the real thing!

Head over to the main challenge blog to check out all the details of this weeks challenge and to see what our lovely design Team have made for your inspiration.
We have a new member joining us this week the lovely Claire be sure to head over to her blog and give her a lovely warm welcome.
This cute little stamp from The Angel Company is up for grabs for the lucky winner
Remember to be in with a chance of winning
You must use a rubber stamp (not a digi) and it must be at least 6 months old
Thank you for stopping by my blog and to those that do for your comments.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Quick Gillian

Hello all, today is a quick post of a quick card I made a couple of days ago. In fact it doesn't come much quicker than this as this cute little digi stamp 'Gillian' was coloured in when she arrived at my computer! The fabulous 'Prairie Fairy' sent her over in all different formats and all I had to do here was colour her shoes and socks in!
I needed a card really quickly as I just found out one of my 8 sister in laws has just gained a 2:1 proving you can teach an old dog new tricks as Vicky turned 50 last year!
Inspired by the fabulous Pinky, who makes the best (and most) personalised cards in blog land I decided to add Vicky's name.
The lush paper is Kaiser Craft and the tassel has been kicking around my craft room forever! The flowers are WOC and I gave her a lovely pair of sparkly diamond earrings! lol

Hope your having a glorious weekend, it's meant to be scorching hot today which means I should be manically busy!!!

Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Crafty Creations - Let It Shine
Sweet Stampin  - Something Old Something New

Moving Along Clean & Simply

Good morning all, goodness knows what the weather will bring today but as I'm writing this we have a red sky here in
'Sunny Hunny'
I'd like to say 'hello' and thank you to my new followers, you certainly know how to make someones day!

It's Thursday already which means DT time for me over at

Before I show you my card today I just want to thank everyone who played along last week with our
Inspired By A Song Challenge
I had the best time checking out all the blogs and songs. It was the most fun I'd had since I started blogging!

Today our Head 'Teamie' The one and only Hazel has chosen the theme and she chose
CLEAN AND SIMPLE
Oh my goodness these are sooooooo NOT simple!!
This was the hardest card I have ever made, and this is about the 7th attempt!
I cannot stamp directly onto a card, I know that now and have I finally come to terms with that fact! It's not that I didn't try
............I think I tried too hard!!
My little 'Janpanse Girl' (I'm still playing last weeks challenge) is a sticker! Is that cheating? It felt like cheating, especially when I tell you my sentiment is a rub on! With that knowledge you would think this card took all of 5 minutes to make, well think again because it took me days!!!!!
And trying to photograph it was another nightmare, I don't think the camera likes red!

We are sponsored this week by
The winner will receive a £10 Gift Voucher

So pop over to MAWTT for all the details and to check what the fabby Design Team have been busy making for your inspiration.

Thank you for stopping by to have a look,  and for the lovely comments I receive

Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges

Good morning all, though its not been so good here I'm afraid it was more like winter again yesterday, can't you tell it's time for Wimbledon!

The stamp is by Rubber Romance and if I remember correctly she is called 'Angela'
The gorgeous paper is my new 6x6 pad by Echo Park called Be Mine
The flowers, ribbon, pearls, brads and rub ons are all from my stash as is the little metal double hook thing (bet you didn't know that's what they are called!)

Moving Along With A Song

Good Morning Bloggers I'm So Excited today, as it's challenge time again, and this week it's a real  Thriller over at
They have let Little Old Wine Drinker Me set the theme!  That's two in a week for me - I'm going to need to
Sit Down after this!

I love a bit of Pop Music and often have a sing song while Driving In My Car where no one can hear me (fortunately for them as I'm tone deaf!) and I thought I'd take my singing into the craft room  and do it My Way
This week I want you to give your card a song title and be
INSPIRED BY A SONG

The prize up for grabs in keeping with the theme is this fabulous
Kanban Lets Face The Music and Dance Kit
Head Over There to the main challenge blog for all the details and to check out what the fab Design Team have been
Sing Baby Singing while making some inspiration for you

This was an easy one for me as ever since I bought this little cutie he has screamed out
Wild Thing
Just look, bless him, he is so not wild! He is actually called Born To Be Wild
He's from Penny Black and is my favourite of all the Hedgehog Stamps
The paper is all furry and gorgeous from Anna Griffin, it comes in Zebra too, which I used on my friend Lisa's card a while back because after all That's What Friends Are For

It's A Beautiful Day and I hope your cards will Ring My Bell and Raise Me Up as you use your True Colours be it copic or Promarkers and Paper Roses

Now its Time To Say Goodbye and hopefully
We'll Meet Again because you're Simply The Best for visiting me and leaving comments

Gardening Tilda

Hello friends can you believe another post from me on consecutive days! I said I was going to try harder this week and last night I made this little lady and I wanted to share it with you.
I love my little easel from Sir Stampalot, that is my all time favourite shop, I order it one day and it's here the next!
This is one of the new Tilda's from the Sweet Rainbow collection, I don't think I've ever used one this quickly before - they sit in my craft room for months before I get around to actually using them, some have been there for years and are still unused - shameful I know.
The grass and leaves die are Magnolia Doo Hickeys and the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts, Tilda was coloured with copics and I distressed around the Watering Can card with Tim Holtz crackle paint. The little butterfly has been in my stash forever!

I would like to enter this into the new Magnolia challenge
which has a 'Birthdays' theme for this week

Who have a 'Summer' theme

Who want to see 'Something Punched'
I hope my die cuts count!

Moving Along Without A Card!

Good Morning Blogland, I have been a really bad blogger these last few weeks, what with two holidays and several bank holidays where we are busy at work, but I really do promise to sort myself out and get to visit you all much more in the next few days and to actually try to post something that is NOT a DT project!

It is however Thursday again which does mean DT time for me already this week over at
and this week my gorgeous teamie Pami has chosen
Anything But A Card
aaaarrrggghhhhhh!!!
This challenge gives me shivers! I only know how to make cards!

We are sponsored this week by
and they have donated this super prize to the winner
Pop over to the main challenge blog for all the details and to see what my lovely team mates have made for your inspiration.
I have wanted to try and make a bookmark since Lisa showed me one she had made and this was my opportunity - I was amazed how simple but effective this was and now I'm pleased to say I don't only know how to make cards - I can make bookmarks too!
I'm sorry the photo is a bit blurry I didn't have time to retake it before I went on my fortnightly 90 mile trip to take my Mum to Sainsburys! I do get breakfast in bed there though so to me the 180 miles round trip is worth it!
This lovely little girl is now adorning the corner of my new Jackie Collins novel where I can look at my beloved Tilda at the same time as I read my book!

I would like to enter her into the following challenges
Just Magnolia - Anything Goes
Totally Tilda - Tilda in Red, White & Blue
Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Anything Goes
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Crafts And Me - Stamp Something
